Graduate Project Manager, Corporate Office

Our ambitious plan to reach 80 hotels by 2030 becomes closer this year with numerous new openings across the country. As a result, we’re expanding our Property & Development team and are seeking a GRADUATE PROJECT MANAGER to join us!

About Veriu Group – We work with various developers across the country who build properties to our specs so that we can take out long-term leases to run our operations. Our great partnerships with developers are off the back of our long-standing relationships and the excellent reputation we’ve built for ourselves. In addition to these greenfield sites, on occasion we also refurbish and/or rebrand other hotels within the market to grow our portfolio.

As Project Manager – You’ll bring strong experience working in project management within the construction industry, attention to detail and a forward-thinking mindset. You’ll be able to perfectly balance relationships with outcomes and be able to represent the tenant (us) within the entire development to delivery process.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Pipeline management and communication to stakeholders
• Assisting with new opportunity proposals and negotiations
• Mark-up of plans with tenant-side comments
• Management of the tenant-side development process to delivery
• Management of FF&E design, procurement, delivery & installation
• Updating of developer brief documents
• Oversite and management of internal refurbishment projects

This is an awesome opportunity for someone to combine their passion in project management with our greater growth strategy, and is the opportunity to have a real impact within our small Property & Development team.

This role is based at our Queens Road head office, however travel to our development sites (local & interstate) on a regular basis will be required.
