We’re thrilled to unveil the completion of our $1.6 million extensive refurbishment across Punthill Essendon and Punthill Williamstown, done with our guests in mind and as part of our ongoing national refurbishment program.
The combined $1.6 million investment represents a significant reinvestment in our Punthill portfolio. It reflects what we believe is a critical part of staying competitive, continually refreshing our products and elevating the experience for our guests.
As Veriu Group CEO Zed Sanjana puts it, “In an increasingly competitive market, it’s critical that we continue to refresh our product and elevate the guest experience to meet the expectations of today’s discerning travellers.”
The refurbishments cover all guest apartments, lobby and reception areas, meeting and conference spaces, Wi-Fi infrastructure and external signage. Guests will notice a thoroughly refreshed interior.
The new refreshed interiors include new carpets and modern window furnishings, new furniture and original artwork, upgraded smart TVs and new beds with premium beddings, as well as in-room appliances and fully replenished kitchen packs.
Every decision was made with our guests in mins. From arrival through to check-out, we want every stay to feel seamless, welcoming and well considered.
Punthill Essendon is a 56-apartment property offering studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and two-bedroom interconnecting configurations. Featuring a fully equipped gymnasium, meetings and events facilities, secure on-site parking, and accessible rooms, it remains one of our strongest-performing properties.
Punthill Williamstown comprises 42 apartments, including studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom options, with the added highlight of a rooftop deck, gymnasium, meetings and events spaces, and secure parking.
Both properties are designed to accommodate business and leisure travellers alike, with fully equipped kitchens, in-room laundry, dedicated living and workspaces, and private balconies (excluding studios).
These refurbishments are part of a broader program of targeted upgrades across the Punthill portfolio. Works at Punthill Little Bourke in Melbourne’s CBD are expected to follow, as we continue to strengthen the brand we proudly acquired.
