Veriu Group is going through an exciting period of rapid expansion, which has created a new opportunity for exceptional talent to join our dynamic and passionate team. As such, we are currently seeking a part-time Super Host to join our newest Veriu Hotel, Veriu Green Square!

This is a customer facing role and requires an energetic and enthusiastic hotel supervisor who is ready and willing to work as part of a team. We have ambitious growth plans with 5+ hotels opening in the next 2 years, so we would love if you were equally as passionate about your career growth as we are about seeing our portfolio of hotels grow.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual who has a high sense of pride in their work and who genuinely cares about delivering warm and homely guest service. You will require the ability to work flexible hours, won’t mind helping out across different properties of ours from time, and will be strongly focused on furthering your career development.

In this role you will:

  • Provide a high level of guest services to guests at checkin, checkout and during stay
  • Be the first level escalation in providing resolutions to complaints and problems
  • Identify new ways to leave guests with a lasting memorable experience
  • Use your inquisitive nature to identify new sales leads, encouraging the team to do the same
  • Respond to emergency situations in a safe and professional matter
  • Display a strong attention to detail & self-motivation
  • Have flexible availability: morning, day & evening shifts, Monday to Sunday
  • Build strong and authentic relationships with your team mates and our guests
  • Supervisor the front office and housekeeping departments
  • Be the hotel’s Front Office trainer, assisting with the training of new staff
  • Complete rostering and time/attendance approvals
  • Provide supervisor support to the Hotel Manager
  • Assist the Hotel Manager with higher level hotel management and admin tasks

Talent Profile

We are looking for someone who is ready to hit the ground running, who brings with them passion for guest services and a willingness to learn.

Similar experience in a hotel supervisor role, qualifications (completed or working towards) in hotels/hospitality and a current First Aid Certificate is beneficial but not crucial. Instead, our must haves include: alignment to our company values of Relationship Focused, Integrity, Ownership Mindset and Personal Growth.
