Our Super Host (Duty Manager) role is a crucial role in our team structure and requires someone with a high sense of pride in their work and a great sense of initiative who wants to accelerate their career in Hotel Management.

Duties in a nutshell:

  • Oversee the front office and housekeeping departments inc. complaint escalation and problem-solving, team management and training, rostering & timesheet approvals
  • Provide a high level of guest services to guests at check-in, check-out, and during stay
  • Create new ways to leave guests with a lasting memorable experience
  • Use your inquisitive nature to identify new sales leads, encouraging the team to do the same
  • Respond to emergency situations in a safe and professional matter
  • Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
  • Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager in higher-level hotel management and admin tasks, in order to prepare yourself for a future Hotel Manager role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in Front Office or related supervisory/management experience
  • Amazing problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalated complaints
  • Flexibility to work a range of AM, Day, and PM shifts across all 7 days of the week
  • First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Infection Control Training certificate (or willingness to obtain)
