Our name means True & Genuine, and from humble beginnings our brand was founded out of a genuine passion for connecting travellers to the authenticity of a location by providing comfortable and bespoke accommodation. Today, we are a multi-brand accommodation group operating 17 hotels (and growing!) across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Although each property we operate is unique and true to the location it is situated, we possess the same guest service philosophy that drives what we do each and every day.

We have an ambitious pipeline of new hotels that will see us continue to expand across the country, with the goal of operating 80+ hotels by 2030! As we embark on this journey, we are focused on building long-lasting relationships with a great sense of integrity, surrounding ourselves with talented individuals driven by self-growth, all while operating with an ownership mindset.

As we run towards a post-covid future, we are ramping up our hotels in anticipation for the return of travel. As a result, an excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Management Accountant to join our team.

At Veriu, every member of our team is a business partner, integral to our growth and development, working with us to achieve exceptional results. As the Senior Management Accountant your responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide training, guidance & support to the AP/AR functions & junior team members, as well as to Managers at both Corporate Office and property-based locations
  • Monitor business results and provide clear & informed analysis
  • Support decision making, making recommendations for potential revenue and profit enhancements
  • Facilitate liaison between Finance Team & the Group’s Managers regarding performance against budget
