Position Overview

Veriu Group is going through an exciting period of rapid expansion which has created new opportunities for exceptional talent to join our dynamic and passionate team. As such, we are currently seeking a casual Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our boutique property in Oakleigh!

This is a customer facing role and requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team. We have ambitious growth plans with 5+ hotels opening in the next 2 years, so we would love if you were equally as passionate about your career growth as we are about seeing our portfolio of hotels grow.

Responsibilities

We are looking for people who have a high sense of pride in their work and who genuinely care about room presentation. You will require the ability to work flexible hours and won’t mind helping out across different properties of ours from time to time. This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsible for the high standard of our hotel rooms and common areas, you will:

  • Complete in-stay and departure cleans of guest rooms, using your strong eye for detail
  • Create a great first impression by ensuring our guest areas and common areas are maintained to a high standard
  • Be self-motivated, work unsupervised to room cleaning metrics
  • Have flexible availability, shifts range from 7am-7pm Monday to Saturday
  • Have knowledge and experience of safe working procedures
  • Use your good communication skills and ability to follow instructions to ensure the timeliness of your work
  • Build strong and authentic relationships with your team mates and our guests
